We measure water, gas, and light. Soon, we will measure tokens.

Artificial Intelligence is transitioning from a novelty to a utility. You won't "log in" to AI any more than you "log in" to your plumbing. You will simply connect your home to a provider to power your life.

Jensen Huang expects his $500k engineers to burn $250k in compute every year. He has a bias, but he isn't wrong. If intelligence is the engine of value, why would you limit the fuel?

The price of tokens will crater. As AI commoditizes, the "commodity" becomes common sense, logic, and synthesis. What was once the pinnacle of human achievement—critical thinking—is now accessible via a subscription.

This leaves us with a shift in scarcity. As machine intelligence becomes democratic, human discernment becomes exclusive.
